It gives the impression that the one making this du’a is not in need of Allah that much.
It gives the impression that whatever you ask may be ‘too much’ for Allah to fulfill.
When you call upon Allah, make sure to come with certainty that He will hear and responds.
Don’t make half-hearted du’as.
Everything is easy for Allah. He says ‘Be’ and it is.
Allah is shy from His servant who raise his hands and asks to Him and leave them empty handed.
→ The hadith about the traveller who is very dirty and raises his hand and shows his neediness.
The difference between this scenario & istikhara : In this scenario, you know what you want, but when you do istikhara, you yourself isn’t sure of what you want.
