Salaam everyone! 👋 Welcome to my digital garden, or perhaps more aptly, my oasis.

This is the third (or maybe fourth!) iteration of my personal site over the years, but I can never put my finger on why I feel like it just never worked. After reading the article above on digital gardens, I realized that I had always aimed for perfection. I felt that everything I published had to be polished and complete. In the end, that pressure kept me from consistently writing and sharing what I was learning.

The idea of learning in public can be daunting, but this digital garden ethos embraces imperfection. Here, I try to cultivate knowledge together, flaws and all. Just like an oasis that begins with a single drop, that grow over time.

This site used to be a collection of my learning in various aspects, mainly in software development. Over time, however, I’ve found myself increasingly drawn toward studying the deen. Because of that, I’ve decided that this space will now be fully dedicated to sharing what I’ve learned about Islam over the years.

I am still very much a student on this journey, so please forgive any mistakes or inaccuracies. If you happen to notice something that needs correction, please feel free to reach out to me. I would truly appreciate it.

I write in both English and Bahasa Indonesia—sometimes even blending the two. If that occasionally causes confusion, I apologize in advance.

And with that, I hope you find the contents beneficial, and may Allah accept this as aamal jariyyah for me. Aameen 🤲
