‘Afw ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The Jews split into seventy-one sects, one of them is in Paradise and seventy are in the Hellfire. The Christians split into seventy-two sects, seventy-one are in the Hellfire and one of them is in Paradise. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, my nation will split into seventy-three sects, one of them is in Paradise and seventy-two are in the Hellfire.” It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, who are the ones in Paradise?” The Prophet said, “The united community.”

عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ افْتَرَقَتْ الْيَهُودُ عَلَى إِحْدَى وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً فَوَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَسَبْعُونَ فِي النَّارِ وَافْتَرَقَتْ النَّصَارَى عَلَى ثِنْتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً فَإِحْدَى وَسَبْعُونَ فِي النَّارِ وَوَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَتَفْتَرِقَنَّ أُمَّتِي عَلَى ثَلَاثٍ وَسَبْعِينَ فِرْقَةً وَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَثِنْتَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ فِي النَّارِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ هُمْ قَالَ الْجَمَاعَةُ

Hadits ‘Auf bin Malik Radhiyallahu ‘anhu.
عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: اِفْتَرَقَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ عَلَى إِحْدَى وَسَبْعِيْنَ فِرْقَةً فَوَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَسَبْعُوْنَ فِي النَّارِ وَافْتَرَقَتِ النَّصَارَى عَلَى ثِنْتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِيْنَ فِرْقَةً فَإِحْدَى وَسَبْعُوْنَ فِي النَّارِ وَوَاحِدَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَالَّذِيْ نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَتَفْتَرِقَنَّ أُمَّتِيْ عَلَى ثَلاَثٍ وَسَبْعِيْنَ فِرْقَةً وَاحِدَةٌ فِيْ الْجَنَّةِ وَثِنْتَانِ وَسَبْعُوْنَ فِيْ النَّارِ، قِيْلَ: يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ مَنْ هُمْ؟ قَالَ: الْجَمَاعَةُ.
Dari ‘Auf bin Malik, ia berkata: “Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda, ‘Yahudi terpecah menjadi 71 (tujuh puluh satu) golongan, satu (golongan) masuk Surga dan yang 70 (tujuh puluh) di Neraka. Dan Nasrani terpecah menjadi 72 (tujuh puluh dua) golongan, yang 71 (tujuh puluh satu) golongan di Neraka dan yang satu di Surga. Dan demi Yang jiwa Muhammad berada di Tangan-Nya, ummatku benar-benar akan terpecah menjadi 73 (tujuh puluh tiga) golongan, yang satu di Surga, dan yang 72 (tujuh puluh dua) golongan di Neraka,’ Ditanyakan kepada beliau, ‘Siapakah mereka (satu golongan yang masuk Surga itu) wahai Rasulullah?’ Beliau menjawab, ‘Al-Jama’ah.’
