    1. Tafsir on all of the sciences of Qur’an
    2. Tajweed, the different types of qira’at

  4. Al Hadith wa uloomoohum (Hadith and its Sciences)
    1. Hadith and all of its sciences
    2. Studying the text a of ahadith, the authenticity, the narrators
    3. The sciences of grading; how to know what is authentic and what is not
  5. Seerah and History
    1. The biography of the Prophet ﷺ
    2. Subjects related to; his characteristics, what he was known for, his looks and behaviour.
    3. History: the time prior to Islam, Islamic history post Islam or after the time of the Prophet ﷺ
  6. Uloom al Arabiyya wa Al Mantiq (Sciences of Language and Logic and reason) a. It is not about learning to speak Arabic as a second language b. It is about the sciences that make up the Arabic langue such as grammar, morphology, the history of the langue, the dictionaries of the Arabic language c. A lot of rulings are based on the understanding of the Arabic language
  7. Al Tarrabiyyatul Islamiyya (Islamic Etiquettes and Personal Development) a. Developing yourself personally, spiritually, good manners, behaviours and purifying the heart

The Time

Each pathway, along with the arabic language course will take around 2 hours of teaching time a week. So 7 pathways mean around 14 hours of class time. When you add revision and memorization it will add 2-3 more hours to the pathway. So 7 pathways mean around 30-35 hours of class time. Feel free to scale up and down.

Memorization of Quran

It is a pre-requisite for any student of knowledge. Try to aim for that. At beginner’s level, aim to memorize 5 juz of the Qur’an. At intermediate level, aim to memorize 15 juz of the Qur’an. At advanced level, aim to memorize all of the Qur’an.
